Registration Policy

The Children’s Ark Preschool, Inc. will be accepting registrations for the school year 2010-2011, beginning February 1, 2010 for current students, siblings and members of First Ev. Lutheran Church, and siblings, in that order. Early REGISTRATION during this month is strongly advised.

Public registration will be accepted of as March 1, 2010 for any slots available on a first come first serve basis.

A $50.00 non-refundable registration fee (of which $25.00 will be applied to September’s tuition if your child is registered by May 31, 2010) made out to Children’s Ark Preschool, Inc. must accompany the registration in order to hold a place for your child. If your child was not accepted due to full enrollment, your check will be returned and your child will be placed on the waiting list.

Registration forms may be picked up in preschool or church office at anytime, BUT NO REGISTRATION FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED BEFORE FEBRUARY 1, 2010, FOR ELIGIBLE STUDENTS OR BEFORE MARCH 1, 2010 FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

THREE DAY PROGRAM
Monday, Wednesday and Friday
4.0 years of age or older

Monthly: $200.00*
Limited spaces are available for 4 and 5 day programs, your child must be at least 4 years old.
Monthly rates: $265.00 - 4 day
$325.00 - 5 day

**OPTIONAL EXTENDED CARE -- LUNCH BUDDIES
12:00 - 12:45 Available to the children attending our 3-day
program only. Cost: $5.00 per day*
Save by purchasing a coupon book of ten (10) coupons for $45.00 (one free lunch); this may be included in your monthly payment, please see one of the staff.

Tuition and Billing Policy

Use your coupon book for your monthly tuition payments to Children’s Ark Preschool, Inc. The right portion of the book should be detached and enclosed with your tuition payment. PLEASE USE YOUR COUPON BOOKS. THEY ARE DATED.

If your child is registered by May 31, 2010, a $25.00 credit will be applied to your September tuition payment, if your payment is paid on time. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THIS CREDIT ON SEPTEMBER’S COUPON.

Please note the following rules:
School policy prohibits the refund of any registration and tuition payments. ALL TUITIONS ARE DUE IN ADVANCE ON OR BEFORE THE 20TH OF THE MONTH PRIOR. Payments must be made on or before the 20th of the prior month. If your tuition payment will be late, please notify the Director so arrangements can be made. *A $5.00 late fee will be charged for any tuition payments not made by the due date of the 20th, after the 25th there will be a $10. late fee and after the 30th, a $15. late fee. If a late payment is due please enclose it with your tuition payment. There will be a $15.00 charge for any checks returned for insufficient funds and then any late fees incurred due to returned funds. Any tuition payment made after June 1st must be paid in cash, money order or bank check.

A one time FIELD TRIP fee of $30.00** for the 3-day program and $15.00** for the 2-day program is DUE WITH THE SEPTEMBER TUITION PAYMENT. Children cannot and will not participate on Field Trip(s) if the fee has not been paid in advance.
**With rising costs we reserve the right to charge an additional fee if the field trip fee does not cover all trip costs.

The Director will accept any checks or cash payments at the Preschool including Lunch Buddies. There is a mailbox provided in the preschool for tuition payments.

A child will not be permitted to attend Preschool if tuition is not paid, if he/she harms himself or other children, or if his/her school records are not kept up to date per EEC regulations.

Parents may purchase a CHILDREN’S ARK PRESCHOOL t-shirt (to be worn on all field trips and special events) anytime at the preschool for a cost of $7.00. Some sweatshirts are also available, please see staff.
